See more about '~*STUNNING!*~sHAbBy ANTIQUE CHERUBS PUTTI MANTLE STATUE' Description ~*STUNNING!*~sHAbBy ANTIQUE CHERUBS PUTTI MANTLE STATUE   This past weekend we found sooo many fabulous items.  Please be sure to check out all of my items through our eBay Store.  There's lots of awesome stuff you won't want to miss out on!!   Welcome Ladies!!! ......OMG ~ THIS HAS GOT TO BE THE MOST INCREDIBLE OLD ANTIQUE STATUE EVER!!  Many of you know how I'm "stupid in love" with CHERUBS ~ so you can imagine my heart racing when I first laid eyes on this rare Victorian beauty.  Anyway ~ these awesome Putti / Cherubs are 3 of the best with perfect detailing!  Each is playing a musical instrument.  Check out how 2 have BIG smiles and 1 is sad and crying!  (That's a 1st for any group of cherubs I've ever seen!)  Each Cherub is unique and charming.  The only problem you'll have is deciding which Cherub will be your focal point on display!  The glass bowl is gorgeous too.  The draped edges are very unusual and I love how beautifully the pleat pattern compliments them.  The inside is frosted and attached to the rod that goes thru the center.   We believe the statue may have originally been a fountain (has a metal rod through the center).  Amazing old crackled, heavily patina'd thick gold paint.  The old aged black and green patina is deep, rich and just beautiful!  The gold has aged a little differently on all 3 sides ~ probably based in it's light and/or temperature exposures during it's history.  The gold has a bronzy and coppery hue.     This antique statue weighs an incredible 30 lbs!  We're not sure what it is made of.  In fact we first thought it was metal and parts of it may be. Some spots with chipped off paint look smooth and light colored like stone, smooth and dark colored like metal and other spots are pebbly like cement.  If you're looking for a special piece to place in your bathroom or on a mantle  ~ this is it!  The statue and bowl are in excellent condition with a few very minor dings in the statue ~ the paint is very well aged with chipped paint here and there and hairline cracks in the paint.  There are no signs of any repairs.  This is absolutely perfect for adding architectural interest ..... charm..... and beauty to your home!  Do not miss out ~ something like this only comes around once in a blue moon!  A must-have piece for French Country, Cottage, Victorian and other shabby chic style homes!       SIZE:  21-1/2" tall x 9-1/2" diameter.  Bowl has an 11" diameter.   SHIPPING:  $39, by Ground ~ insurance and first quality packing materials included.  We individually build custom corrugated crates for each item to ensure safe arrival!!!  All associated packing costs are included in the shipping cost.    We maintain professional quality in every aspect of our product selection, customer service and shipping.
