A perfume bottle  with it's own history! a great story!! numbered with etching on glass 1913 This auction includes a gorgeous numbered bottle, a letter telling it's history and gift note dated Jan. 27th 1947, and Antique road show ticket telling it's estimated value and origin (The butterfly tin shown is being sold separately) This is what it has been stored in for years and years.   The bottle is 3 1/2 " tall with the stopper IN by 3 " wide at the base stopper is 2" tall silver stamped with iris flowers and swirling leaves of silver formed over the glass bottle Silver on the base is stamped 999/1000 FINE 3111 Glass on the base is numbered 85   and also   392 (which one of the numbers probably indicates what number in the edition it happens to be) Initials inscribed are ML for the initials of the original owner Minnie Leschiusky (It was custom made for minnie as a silver 25th anniversary gift) Later given to Marline from Auntie Beth (as noted in the letter-see photo) The letter in itself is beautiful, written in black ink well pen on note paper in '47 Yes, this bottle went to the antique road show. My mother who was an antique dealer in Kearney Nebraska USA for 30 years took it to Omaha NE a few years ago to price it. It was then valued at $350.00 It still has fine perfume in the bottle and it smells good. Very French! In fabulous condition!
