We are offering this sharp piece as we're in the process of downsizing from a generous 3800 square foot home to roughly 1500 feet and just can't keep everything. TRULY wouldn't be parting with it otherwise : ) . It features outstanding embossed decoration to all sides of medieval style crests with crosses and fleur de lis, rope columns, Art Nouveau style florals / Trilliums and is further enhanced by hand hammered / pebbled details, studs, ruby colored faux jewels and subtle remnants of paint in cream, coral and pale blue with a craquelure finish . The lid is hinged and there is a small lock on the front ( sorry we never did have a key ), the bottom features a solid sheet of brass with 4 petite feet and the interior is lined in wood suggesting this may have originally been used as humidor / cigar box . In wonderful unpolished / untouched condition this measures approx. 12" wide, 11 1/2" high by 5" deep across the sides weighing near 5 lbs. and is free from breaks, creases or repairs with beautiful original patina intact . It appears a jewel was replaced at some point, the upper right corner is pushed in a touch ( as it's pictured from the front ), the little lock kick plate needs reattaching and the bottom is minorly waved where a few tiny nails are missing which has no effect on the way it sits or presents : )  Really a TREMENDOUS one-of-a-kind decorative box with fantastic eye appeal for any eclectic decor offered with a reasonable BuY it NoW given age, condition and originality....we always LiST To SELL !!!  OUR MISSION STATEMENT : Most treasures are from our PC ( personal collection ).
