This is an auction of excellent violin by French maker Pailliot made ca. 1830. Instrument remains in excellent condition and considering age one could say almost mint. It bares it's original label that did make it till today in mint condition as you can see on picture. It has no cracks and the only reparation I can see is pegs rebushing. This is the most elegant and beautiful edge work I've ever seen. Varnish is also in excellent condition and very beautiful brown. Very transparent. But let me tell you about the sound. EXCELLENT! It has every thing you would expect from Old French violin. Please, listen to video clip. It is concert violin with soprano and sonority of an old world. But given condition it is also instrument for collector. Violin has professional set up. New fixture and fingerboard is professionally polished. It is ready to go and make people happy listeners. My asking price is about half of it's value. This is what you would expect on eBay and I will listen to reasonable offers but no lowballers please.
