The gilt brass buttons have a high relief showing a crown and an Eagle. The brass is in excellent condition. I have polished one button to show you the difference. Please have a look at the second picture how nice and shiny the cleaned surface is. You will however receive all the buttons cleaned and polished if not requested otherwise. In the last picture the button to the right is the polished one.  The buttons measure 1 inch in diameter and they are 0,5 inch deep including the shank. The shank is also made of brass. MAKER:  All buttons are made in England. 10 of the buttons have stamped on the backside: FIRMIN LONDON  and 2 of the buttons have the stamp: BUTTONS LIMITED BIRMINGHAM. ( please have a look at the third picture.) The front side of the buttons looks exactly the same with all the buttons.  This set of buttons is very beautiful and crafted with a lot of attention to detail. This is a chance to get a genuine and complete set of guilt buttons in excellent condition. This set was purchased by me in a little town called Beaufort West in the South African Karoo.
