I have no proof but I dont believe that there are more than 25,000 rackets from the pre 1935 era, here is your chance to own real history and have fun doing it, I must say good bye to my collection. There are 177 racquets here, all very old, all wood with a few old Dayton metal shaft ones, each a classic by itself. Some show their age and all are sold as is, but for the most part they are in great shape. It took me over 14 years to put this collection together and I enjoyed every auction, flea market and estate sale. I work in the wood related industries and that was my real attraction to these racquets, more so than the sport itself. The craftsmen ship is amazing, I could not even imagine any of these being made today. They are from over a dozen different makers, most have very good markings on them, some have date of patent. From my investigation most are from 1900 thru 1935 or so. I will ship free in New England, $50 any where else in usa or canada.
