Atlas of Bracken and Pendleton Counties, Kentucky 1884 This abridged Atlas CD contains high resolution digital images of vintage 1884 Bracken and Pendleton county Kentucky maps that are presented in Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF). All 1884 Bracken and Pendleton county precinct maps are included on this CD, as are a number of city and village plan maps from this period. The Bracken county precincts included are:Augusta (precint 3, Berlin (precinct 7),Brooksville (precinct 1), Chatham (precinct 8), Fairview (precinct 6), Foster (precinct 2), Germantown (precinct 4)and Milford (precinct 5). Village and town maps of Bracken county in this atlas: Augusta, Berlin, Brooksville, Foster, Germantown, Lenoxburg, Milford, Powersville, Tietzville and Wellsburgh. The Pendleton county precincts included are: Bonars (precint 3), Butler (precinct 8), Callensville (precinct 7), Falmouth (precinct 1), Grassy Creek (precinct 5), McKenneysburg (precinct 2), Sand Suck (precinct 4)and Short Creek (precinct 6). Village and town maps of Pendleton county in this atlas: Boston, Butler, Catawba, De Mossville, Falmouth and Knoxville. Details on early maps are often difficult to read and these are no exception; however, by virtue of the Adobe PDF formatting, these documents may be inspected at high levels (>300%) of magnification without additional digital distortion; something that simply cannot be accomplished with paper reproductions and photocopies.
