This is a beautiful framed and matted original antique map of  VERMONT   The map is 120 years old, Railroads, but no roads yet. This is an important map by John Alden published in 1888. Not a copy.This would be a great gift as it is ready to hang! The frame measures about 10 x 8. The frame is beautiful. Its hand finished in black and beautiful dark gold leaf, not paint, with fancy scrollwork. This is not a cheap ready made frame. Its custom made by me with expensive hand finished Italian solid wood moulding. The perfect frame for this map. The mat is white and acid free. A beautifully framed collectable antique map.
