This rare meter was patented July 16th 1895. The movement is free. It has an air dampening flap that is located under the dial scale. The serial number is located in at least two places. On the dial scale and on a wrap around aluminum tag. The approximate measurements are: 8.5" tall including the mounting tab. 8.0" wide. 4.0" deep. The housing is made of brass I believe.
