2 Vintage Continental German .800 Silver Egg Cups Start Price USD 49.99 Current Price USD 49.99 Time Left - Bid Count 0 Buy It Now Price - Reserve Price - Start Time Tuesday, September 23, 2008 End Time Thursday, October 23, 2008 Location Maple Ridge, British Columbia See more about '2 Vintage Continental German .800 Silver Egg Cups' Description      SquareTrade © AP6.0 Bid with confidence, you'll be dealing with an eBay Powerseller! 2 Vintage Continental German .800 Silver Egg Cups TWO (2) Vintage German .800 Silver Egg Cups.  Each is hallmarked (although hallmarks are rubbed/hard to read).  We recognize the symbols as being Crescent Moon, Crown, 800, & Makers Mark (indistinguishable).  These marks are German, circa 1880+.  We feel these are like circa 1910-1920's.  Solid 800/1000 Silver.  Sterling has a slightly higher content at 925/1000.  Each egg cup measures approx. 1-7/8" tall.  Combined weight is approx. 45 grams (1.4 Troy Oz).  Nice wavy rim design.  These could use a good polish/buff, as they have some dark & lighter spots from tarnish.  It is noted there is some tarnish spots on the inside of the bowls which may be hard to polish out.  There are no monograms or engravings.  There are no dents, dings, breaks, or repairs.  These would make a nice addition to your valuable collection.  Please see photos for more details.
