The overall height is  17.75 " , the diameters are ,  base , 6.75 " , cup top  8.4 " and the handle width is  15.25 " . The  weight is  3250 grams ,  104  troy ounces . Yes , that is correct , the weight is 3250 grams, 104 troy ounces , and the measurements are as stated..... its big , very big and very beautiful. This really is a most wonderful sight !  I have it on the desk as I type and I can assure you that it is really stunning !  Everything about it is big and beautiful.   Starting at the very top , the lid finial is big ... 2.5" high,,,, and beautiful , having  spiral gadrooning dropping down to alternate droplet ends , all over a wavy band , then narrowing in to a simple stem leading to the lid itself . All that description just for the finial !  The lid gentles downward in spiral gadrooning to complement the finial . Then the lid curves in and out , in a  plain finish, before finishing with a wide decorative band of alternate concave and convex ribs.  To give you an even better idea of the quality and thickness of the silver and the sheer size of it all , the lid by itself weighs 675 grams , 21.7 troy ounces. The lid diameter is just over 9" and the height is 5" ....... everything is big !Now we come to the cup body ..... the  body  is of baluster form , the top 0.25"  of which is upright . The upper part is of plain finish and the lower part is of the same  spiral gadrooning as the lid. The body sits on simple stem with a raised band at its lower end. From the lower edge of this band erupts the spiral gadrooning on the base .  The gadrooning finishes as the base curves in and out to finish in an upright rim of 0.25" height , the whole complementing the design of lid and body.Now , the handles ! Just look at them ! To just say that they are double C scroll with leaf capping  doesn't do them justice , because they are truly  wondrous creations !   The large , 2" , fixings to the cup body have stepped ends to support the rolled ends of the upper C's, each of which  have stepped , tapering designs to the outer  sides. The upper C's are leaf capped with well formed leaves having their ends upturned making for a   spectacular finish  to the handle tops. The upper C scrolls finish with rolled  ends over the lower C scrolls , which themselves terminate in  rolled ends with outurned ends.  From tip to toe , these handles are just under 8" !  They are works of art in themselves and they add that final touch to the glorious  look of the whole lidded trophy cup.  The whole personifies all that is good in the arts of designing and silversmithing.There is no  inscription on this trophy cup , nor has there ever been , so you can display it as it is or have your own dedication inscribed thereon.  The whole is in EXCELLENT CONDITION and is beautifully polished ready to go on display.  For your guidance , I use the words " EXCELLENT CONDITION " only if it is ........., " GOOD CONDITION " to indicate that there are no serious condition problems , but that there may be surface blemishes such as light discolouration , minor dings , dents or scratches commensurate with the age of the piece.............. I use the words " REASONABLE CONDITION " to indicate that there are blemishes and dings ,dents, creases , scratches , ripples etc . Under this condition category I will always qualify such defects , but please ask if you want any clarification of damages to any given piece.
