Look no further. 6 beautiful Shabby Chic French vintage METIS tea towels, or if you prefer it in French Torchons ancian.Now, I always prefer to sell my genuine antique and vintage linens unwashed, (there are sellers who sell new ones bought from Germany as antique) in the grubby condition that I buy them in, any buyer can clearly see these are not fresh off the loom, however saying that, I think these may have been washed once as they are pretty clean. Any remaining marks will come out that I can asure you they just need a soak in oxy wash or similar.These 6 are made from a fairly soft metis,  are still ecru in colour as they are made from unbleached fabric as genuine vintage ones always were. They will go pure white with repeat wahing (apart from the red stripes of course). For those who do not know Metis is a old French woven fabric. Woven using pure linen for the vertical thread and cotton for the horizontal thread, this means the fabric is 55% linen and 45% cotton.These 6 are all matching, unused, but laundered and have a monogramme in one corner. The monogramme is hand worked in the traditional red cross stitch.It is impossible to be accurate on the date but I think these are later than the others I have listed.Of course apart from being slightly grubby are in excellent condition.The monogramme is OP.Postage is from France by economy service to all destinations. This can be very quick or very slow, sadly there is no way of telling which it will be.The Laposte delivery guidelines are, Europe 7-10 days.U.S.A. Japan, Oz 6-8 weeks.
