This roller was used as working Japanese fishing float. It is in good beachcombed condition with the normal wear of working fishing floats that have spent their life at sea. There are no cracks or chips in this rolling pin except for the inevitable chips along the seal button edge.This roller float has lots of ridges in the glass, lots of bubbles and a LARGE SWIRL on the end. Interesting unique old crudely made Hokkaido float with lots of character.  Won't find another like this one! It is made with heavy thick glass with impurities, inclusions and bubbles from the old Japanese manufacturing technique. The integrity of this float is very sound.
