It measures approx. 6" in length. This roller was used as a working Japanese fishing float. It is in good beachcombed condition with minimal wear of working fishing floats that have spent their life at sea. There are no cracks or chips in this rolling pin with the inevitable exception of chipping on the seal button which is common for these old working floats.It is made with heavy thick glass with impurities, inclusions and bubbles from the Japanese manufacturing technique. The integrity of this float is very sound.It has a net on it made from cotton netting. the net is intact with no tears.A BEAUTY !!!
