H. Christian and Treasurer Benjamin Hamilton. A verso endorsement reads, "Georgia, Whitfield County > For value received I hereby transfer this within certificate to John Lord (?) of said county. Dec. 3rd 1863. Test. James E Cox C.S. C. Rowlin County." Very rare. Included with the above is a stock certificate for 100 shares in the Sandy River Petroleum Prize Company, New York, February 27, 1868. 8" x 11.5". Good condition.
