It has brass claw feet, the ones on the back are slightly higher so that the box slopes to the front, the handles are also brass. The box measures approx. 10-1/4" x 7-1/2" x 4" high (at highest point). The wood portion is in very good condition for the age, there is some inlay trim missing on rims of very top section and on one corner at back of lid. The lock is also missing, but this could all be easily restored if you prefer, I think it looks great just the way it is. This box has a great look and great carving and would be a perfect gift for the sewing or Victorian box collector in your life.  I am sure this would sell for a handsome price at any antique show or shop, but with my low opening bid and NO RESERVE someone could score a huge bargain !!
