S.Bergin was the silversmith. While this was in the early part of Grorge IV reign Bergin was already an established Silversmith in the reign of Geroge III. We have had several of his pieces and all are of superior quality. Each after 185 years looks as good as when it came from the silversmith's bench. That assumes proper polishing is rendered. There is a Crest on the front of the spoon and on the backside a handsome design extends down to the bowl. The Halmarks are clear and crisp due to there location on the Handle.
