Well proportioned and elegant in its simplicity. Bearing engraved on the handle the family initials F D nicely entwined. The soup size spoons measures 8 3/4 in. ( 22.5 cm. ) length and they are IN VERY GOOD CONDITION showing only a relatively minor wear commensurate with age and from been used. Very elegant and large table spoons with a fine execution. Top quality set and in pretty nice condition. Fully mark on the back showing Canadian hallmarks and maker's initials K H. Georgian style and period. Unidentified maker. Possibly made in Canada during the first half of the 19th Century.
