It has a label on the inside that says: "Antonius Stradivarius Cremonensis Faciebat Anno 1730" It would need to be restored to be used. The main problems are the seam at the bottom end is unglued for about four inches, and about six inches of the center seam of the back needs regluing. I am not an expert, indeed, I know next to nothing about violins, and know less about playing one. That's why I have included a bunch of photos so you can see the condition. I don't think that this is an original made by Antonius Stradivarius, rather, a very old copy. Read a review of Stradivarius violiins from Dr Progresson here. What appears to be the original case is also included, but it is not in very good condition, the front of it is broken.
