Gun Locke Chair Co.,Wayland New York.If you go on the internet you will find the complete  history of the  company.It was established in 1902  and made well crafted furniture  using kiln dried wood and would steam bend  some pieces as well.They made furniture for the home and later added furniture for offices and schools.Woodrow Wilson as well as many other presidents bought chairs from this company.Notice the two different sizes of wood slats on the back of this piece as well as the scalloped back.Arm rest are slightly rounded for  a more finished look.The original factory tag is still attached to the frame  under the seat.This piece is made  of quarter sawn oak and has steam bent back slats.This settle is in excellent condition and has thicker wood than most of those dinky settles that you are used to finding.The finish on this piece is excellent as well.This is a very heavy and well made settle.The settle is being sold  with  a  PICK  --  UP  ONLY  IN  WASHINGTON  NEW  JERSEY. ********** Place a Bid!
