Description
onmygame Store ANTIQUE PLASTER CAST BUST INDIAN BRAVE - Max Bachman Offered for your consideration is this Antique Plaster Cast Bust of a Native American Indian titled Indian Brave by artist Max Bachman of Boston, MA circa 1902.Known for his famous bust of President Abraham Lincoln, Bachman worked in both Bronze and Plaster and had 4 Plaster Busts entered in the 1893 Columbian Exposition. The bust stands just under 18" in height, and has a base of approximately 7" X 6". It weighs nearly 7 1/2 lbs. There are no chips or cracks to the plaster, however there are a few fine slivers of the patinization that have flaked a bit that are not noticeable to the touch.Considering both age and medium in which produced, the bust is in remarkable condition.Marked on the rear - the number '57 66' followed by 'Copyright 1902' then 'By Max Bachman' , some words that I am unable to decipher and then 'Boston Mass'. There is also a seal of sorts on the rear of the base as shown.Insurance on this Genuine Antique Bust will be included in shipping.- Always FAST SHIPPING - CAREFUL PACKAGING To Ensure SAFE DELIVERY. - Item Shown Is Actual Item Listed. - Item Sold AS IS, AS SHOWN. - Questions??
