IT IS STAMPED WITH A TOTAL OF 20 MERIT STAMPS, SOME GIVING THE DATES OF AWARDS TO THE MAKER: 12 ON THE FRONT ABOVE THE MAKERS NAME IN RUSSIAN, 4 ON THE BACK, AND 4 ON THE BASE. THE DATES ON THESE RANGE FROM 1870 - 1876. IN ADDITION, INCLUDED IS A BRASS TRAY, DRIP BOWL AND TEAPOT. Black knobs and handles on both the Samovar and Teapot are wood. While not originally a set all parts fit and work together well. The Samovar is 18" tall and has an intriquing decorative spout handle. In very good condition, overall, except for an old repair to the base as seen in the photo and another insignificant little crack on the adjacent side of the base. One of the top knobs seems to have been reglued, but is intact., One very minor dimple on the holding tank, but no other dents or damage that I can see. The 2 handled tray is unmarked and measures 17 1/2" long by 9 3/4" wide. The drip bowl, which is hard to find, is marked with a Russian Trademark, and measures 6 1/4" diameter, 2 3/4" wide. Both of these are in excellent condition, no dents. The Teapot measures about 6" in diameter and 7 3/4" high to the top of the handles, which swivels down. It has a Trademark on the bottom; the words "Trade Mark" are in English. In excellent condition with one very minor dimple and no other damage. Together these pieces will make an impressive and elegant addition to your buffet! Because of the difficulty in shipping requirements the sale is limited to US, Canada and buyers.
