It appears to have been properly painted white to fit into the decorative movements of the late 20th century. This is done in a Matt White of thick smooth enamel paint. There is a felt bottom and the piece really works well. 10 3/4 inches tall and 5 1/4 wide by 4 1/2 inches deep. This would be considered lightly distressed as expected for a shabby item of the highest order and from within that world would be considered in excellent condition.
