Description ANTIQUE VICTORIAN ERA SILVER PLATED DANCE PURSE 1873-1886 signed by Webster&Son................. This is a wonderful 19th Century antique dance purse. This RARE collectible is signed E G Webster & Son, therefore it was made between 1873-1886. (See History at the bottom). The raised flower design is an exquisite example of very, very early Art Nouveau movement (1890–1905). DESCRIPTION: Dimensions are 3-3/4" x 3"x 1-1/4", weight 5.3 OZ. While the exterior shows traces of age (please see pictures), and some of the plating is gone, the inside of this purse is clean and in amazing condition. The clasp works but may be tightened if the new owner wishes so. PAT. APPLD FOR marked on the exterior of lid, near the closure................
