Description
ANTIQUE Singer Treadle Sewing Machine Cabinet 4 REDEYE! Description : THESE PHOTOS ARE WELL WORTH THE WAIT! You are bidding on an Antique Singer ~Treadle~ Sewing Machine Cabinet...in EXCELLENT "ORIGINAL" CONDITION! This true antique dates from the early part of the 20th Century...and LOOKS ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL! Over the last couple of years, I toured the great state of Ohio looking for Singer Treadles to add to my collection. Well...I decided (with strong encouragement from my wife) that I need to reclaim my office and part of my garage...so some of these gems have got to go! Over the next several weeks...I will be selling ten or twelve Singer Treadles. My loss...is truly your gain! This auction includes a very serviceable Singer Treadles Sewing Machine Cabinet. Aesthetically Speaking...all thisis sewing machine cabinet look PRETTY DARN GOOD! There are signs of wear consistent with 100 years of use, which includes minor scratches, nicks and the likes, however I could find no signs of abuse...WHATSOEVER! The wood cabinet (probably oak?) cabinet features sturdy construction, applied wood designs, and seven drawers. There is a small piece of trim (which runs along the bottom part of the cabinet near the drawers) is missing, and its adjacent piece is unattached, but included. (I also have a piece of wood that should work for the front trim piece that I will throw in.) You can hardly tell it is missing (unless you are looking for it), and it really does not take away from the overall beauty of this piece. This cabinet will work as is, or the new owner may choose to replace/repair the trim piece. The cast iron treadle base is free from any major damages, spins smoothly, and the four wheels turn as they should. Finally, this cabinet probably housed a Model #66 sewing machine head (Redeye), but other sewing machine heads can be placed in it. Please see the photos for additional aesthetic information, or feel free to e-mail me with any specific questions. Also, please look at the shipping terms below. Your actual shipping cost may be more or less than the $74.99 posted above. Please contact me and I can give you shipping options via Fed Ex or Greyhound (include your zip code). Best of all...I will cover 25% of the SHIPPING COSTS with BUY IT NOW! As my feedback shows...I am an honest seller who sells quality items. BID WITH CONFIDENCE! You will be hard pressed to find an antique treadle sewing machine in this condition?ANYWHERE! With the low starting bid and no reserve...this UNBELIEVABLE FIND is going to be sold to the highest bidder! Let's see if we can find this NICE ANTIQUE SEWING MACHINE CABINET...A NEW HOME! Good Luck Bidding! Shipping :The lucky winner will pay for shipping costs via Fed Ex or Greyhound. Greyhound would be cheaper in most cases; however you would need to pick up the sewing machine at the closest terminal. Estimated Shipping costs will range from $55 - $145, depending on how and where this is shipped. (The coastal states will be more expensive.) This machine will be broken down into two or three boxes, depending on the shipping method. I use new boxes, packaging peanuts, and bubble wrap to help assure safe arrival of your item. I know first hand how disappointing it is to receive something that has been damaged in transit. If you use the Buy It Now Option...I will cover 25% of the shipping costs (to the lower 48 states). That's Right...pay only 50% of the SHIPPING COSTS with BUY IT NOW! Remember, this option will disappear after the first bid has been placed, so if you really like what you see...BUY IT NOW! Local pick-up is also welcome as we live just south of Columbus. I would also be willing to deliver this machine, or meet you at any exit on Rt. 71, between Cleveland and Columbus...FREE OF CHARGE. Payment :The winning bidder pays any shipping costs. Paypal, money orders, and cashier's checks ship quickly. Personal checks will be held seven days to clear. PAYMENT IS REQUIRED WITHIN 10 DAYS OF NOTIFICATION. Payments can be mailed to the following address: Henry H. Rauhaus, 5805 St. Rt. 762, Ashville, OH, 43103. click to Enlarge click to Enlarge click to Enlarge click to Enlarge click to Enlarge click to Enlarge click to Enlarge click to Enlarge Affordable Auction Management and Image Hosting Solutions @ inkFrog
