It is a form that I have never seen before and one that we recently purchased from a local estate. It is victorian and made in a 5" circle. The bottom is rigid and flat and the top of the piec is a quilted form in four pieces with a crochet edge and fancy stitching on the edges of each of the quilt pieces. The piece is filled with a stuffing of some sort and the center holds the thimble snugly into place. The material is worn from use.
