Winchester Repeating Arms Co. didn't just sell guns they also sold household appliances plus many other things. Most were not actually made by them but were contracted out to other companies. The Winchester name was then added. This machine started out as a floor model treadle machine.  The cabinet and cast iron base were in terrible and unrestorable condition so I am just selling the machine part. There was no wording or graphics on the base that designating it to Winchester. This machine head will probably fit a lot of different brands of bases if you wanted to put it in one. It appears to work, but I am selling it in "as is" condition. There is a patent date of 1897 on it. The "Winchester" graphics are good on one side and half obliterated on the other as seen in pics. Buyer prepays, plus $35.00 sh/ins. in the 48 states.
