Visit our store! Offered here is a gorgeous pair of antique white porcelain table lamps. Each lamp features handpainted images of a courting couple in beautiful pastel colors. These works of art resemble "Old Paris" porcelain. The porcelain body sits on a brass base. These may have been mantle urns and were converted into lamps. Both are artist signed. One lamp is signed "J. Missant" and the other lamp is signed what appears to be"D. Pommeyruh". Made by Bourdos & Bloch, Paris, France, Circa 1890-1948 (Porcelaine-de-Paris) indicated by the markings inside the lamps. Both lamps are in excellent condition. Each features gilt hand painted accents which do exhibit some wear to the gilding. The lamps feature double fixture sockets with pull chains & the tops are accentuated by solid brass pineapple finials with floral designs. Both lamps will need to be rewired prior to use in order to assure safety for the buyer. Measures approximately 36” tall by 7” wide. Height from the base to the top of the porcelain body is 21.50”. Will be sent in two boxes double boxed with peanuts and bubble wrap. Shipping will be approximately $44.00 to the New York area and approximately $124.00 to the West Coast Priority Mail.
