This book, as well as several other influential books of the period were the subject of a past article in STYLE 1900 magazine a number of years ago. Well illustrated with 150 illustrations of clocks, vases, silver & metalware, candelabra, ceramics, fire-grates, casting's, windows, books, tea service, jewelry, tables, etc. As stated on the copyright page: "We should do our utmost to encourage the beautiful, for the useful encourages itself" PUBLISHER: G.
