It was made by MANNING BOWMAN OF MERIDAN, CT. At an online site of company history, it was stated that the lettered mark on the bottom dates from 1903 to 1912. That would put it in the ART NOUVEAU PERIOD. I really think the lines of  the pieces hold just as well to the later Art Deco Era. The clean design with the black detail of the bakelite handles gives a modern shape that is still appealing, never "old" looking. There is nothing dated about the look of the pieces. The chrome is in very nice condition, as is the bakelike on the handles. The light reflecting off them made it difficult to take pictures. They are about 3 7/8 inches tall, and the lid brings the sugar to about 5 inches total. Lovely pair, nice graceful lines, in nice conditon. The creamer on one side, appears to be slightly out of round.  I find no dents in either piece.Please ask all questions before the auction ends. I am happy to answer any you have.
