The face is strikingly 'modern', made of pewter, with a very deco shaped copper back and base,and is signed by the artist Rodden, 1934. These are not documented in any of the bookend collectors' guides that I ow; which could be due to rarity. Dimensions and condition:  6" high and 6" wide at the base, and each doe have a 3 1/4" foot which is helpful for supporting heavy books. Please ask all questions prior to bidding.
