Click to Enlarge Click to Enlarge Click to Enlarge Click to Enlarge Click to Enlarge Click to Enlarge Click to Enlarge Click to Enlarge Gorgeous large antique 800 silver repousse footed tray with graceful handle measuring 9" x 12" plus handle and hollow ball feet. It weighs a hefty 494gr or a little over 1lb.I brought this piece to my silver expert and it tested as 800. We both think it is European and 19th century - most likely German. There is a tiny maker or hallmark on the bottom but I can't tell what it is. It has a symbol that I can't quite make out followed by what looks like the nos. 7711. The mark is only 1/4" long and about half that in height -very difficult to decipher especially since silver isn't my field of expertise. The tray is in very good condition - I can't find any dings or dents which is amazing for a silver piece this old. There are a few minor surface spots and usual surface scratches from age and use. Nothing major. These can be polished out or left as is. I like to leave my silver pieces unpolished. Photos are part of the description. All items sold "AS IS" and are from a smoke free environment. Buyer to pay for shipping. Insurance is optional but I am not responsible for loss or damage if not insured.  :: payment terms shipping terms ::  I accept Paypal, money orders or cashiers checks. International sales pay $3.00 as a handling fee due to paper work and extra trip to the post office.       Just one of inkFrog's Creations
