THIS AUCTION IS FOR: A great Art Nouveau WMF tin ice bucket, manufactured around c1900 by WMF (Wurttembergische metal goods factory). Factory mark on buttom: original mark showing an ostrich It is an absolutely faszinating piece in impeccable condition Outside of bucket are bold relieffes that portray 3 different castles located in the Mosel area, one of the traditional areas of wine cultivation of Germany. Design and shape are a typical example of the masterfully crafted work from one of the top factories producing Art Nouveau in Germany at the time !
