It measures about 10 by 13 inches (about 25 by 34 cm.), and is in FINE condition. This map is quite detailed, showing topographical features, countries and colonies, cities and towns, routes of old railroads and canals and more. Elevations and drainage are indicated using hachures, as was common in 19th Century cartography. This is a guaranteed antique map!It comes complete with Certificate of Authenticitydocumenting source, maker and date of printing. Useful for genealogy or historical research, not to mention being highly decorative, this map was printed on a single sheet of stock, hinged in the center, and bound whole in an antique book. The paper is clean and not brittle and there are no marks or stains. It is framed in a solid wood frame with natural finish and covered with glass. Overall dimensions of finished piece are about 12 1/2 by 15 1/2 inches (about 31 by 39 cm.). This would look great in your office, den, great room or study.
