W. Turner and Sons Potteries Tunstall, Staffordshire England c. 1885 This Victorian aesthetic 13 1/2 " long x 10 5/8 " wide platter is transfer printed in luscious dark green. The BRAZIL pattern features an oversized exotic leafy plant with outrageous blooms surrounded by an array of tropical foliage, fruits and berries, ferns and flowers, and a transfer printed urn filled with flowers. Wonderful geometric designs and two evening Moths complete the plate. The pattern displays the victorian eras love of nature.
