Signed W.P.S.Co.  According to our research, Wilcox was one of the original companies to become part of the International Silver Co. in 1898. The thermometer is very good looking and works well with the beaded outside frame silverplate, and the glass instrument mounted on a brass plate that tells blood heat, summer heat, temperate, and freezing temperatures. Charming American Antique. Original wood and velvet backing and ring to hang on the wall. Functional and very attractive antique conversation piece. Low opening bid.
