The bracket style feet are platformed and sturdy, providing plenty of steadiness and support for this very solid kneeler.   I purchase prayer benches and prie dieus whenever possible, and it is extremely hard to find them, especially of this caliber and condition!!   This bench is absolutely beautiful and would beautifully compliment any décor from Gothic to traditional to Victorian to Texas country, and more importantly, it is very sturdy and has many years of service remaining!!   All of my items are personally selected from European container shipments.  I do not purchase in bulk, but prefer to individually purchase the items, with each piece selected for its unique characteristics and quality.   Measurements: 37”H x 28 ¼” x 29”length.   Condition: The prayer bench is structurally sound, VERY sturdy, and visually appealing, with normal signs of age and use, scratches, dings, and other imperfections.   The knee rest is covered with leather type upholstery that has some dings and scratches, but it is not significantly torn or soiled, and certainly could be used, or easily replaced by the buyer.   I only offer carefully selected quality pieces, and always provide multiple photos and written information.
