The quartersawn oak frame looks lovely, with a nice grain and complexion, while the wallphone in its entirety also looks quite striking. The phone is in excellent condition, having sustained no superficial damage, and all the original parts appear to be present, including the handset, which were often replaced during the time period when this phone was used. The empty space at the bottom appears to be made to hold an address book. This antique Dutch wallphone is really a magnificent piece and would look great hanging on any wall! Attention! This item ships anywhere in the continental U.S. for $35 via UPS. For other areas of service, please contact us with your country and zip code. Click on the pictures to view larger sizes. Shown here is the top of the phone, where you can see two of the holes where the phone is screwed into the wall. You can also see the bell and other instruments. As you can see, this is a Type B 1917 model, which was made by Ericsson. The quartersawn oak looks great! You can partly open the case; the crank prevents it from opening all the way; there is probably a way to remove the crank. Shown here is the place where the phone hangs. This is the crank. As you can see, this wallphone was quite solidly built. Created by eBay Blackthorne ver. 3.2.146.0
