The overall instrument structure is actually solid.  The fingerboard looks recent and is in excellent condition.  The wooden G.S.B. case is in poor condition, missing a chunk of wood on the top cover and is stained in the same location. It is painted black and has brass hardware that looks to be original.  Oh yeah, it has a crack on the top cover also and has tape residue all over it...Violin measures approximately 23 1/2" long and 8 1/8" at its widest point.  The only labels I see inside is the paper label that says "Made in Germany".Sold as-is. unifiedmessaging Store Place a Bid!
