I HAVE AGAIN HIGHLIGHTED THE FRAME SIZE NUMBERS IN RED IN CASE YOU NEED TO MAKE THE FRAMES BIGGER OR SMALLER--> This is a very old vintage linen ironer manufactured by Horton Manufacturing Company, Fort Wayne, IN, a company that is no longer in business. I spent countless hours “cleaning” it up. It shows signs of wear as I’m sure it was used many, many times. I’ve taken pictures of most sides to give you a true picture of how vintage this piece is, left behind by the 86 year old gentleman we bought our house from. This ironer is operational. When plugged in and turned on, the roller rolls and the iron heats up. It has it’s original cloth cord however, it look as if the plug has been replaced. Each side has a panel that flips up for easy operation if you’re ironing sheets, etc. As mentioned, this piece shows lots of wear. There are knicks and a dent on the bottom left panel. Also, on the cover, it looks as if there may have been some paint spilled on it however, I chose not to remove it since I didn’t want to alter it’s original characteristics. I also took a picture of the serial number information located in the back. If you’re looking for something truly vintage to display in your home, this would be it. Unfortunately, I cannot offer shipment of this ironer due to it’s weight. I am offering this as “pick up” only. I offer the Buyer 30 days to make arrangements to pick this up.
