Antique Mans Ancient Egyptian Scarab Ring Start Price USD 1,010.00 Current Price USD 1,010.00 Time Left - Bid Count 0 Buy It Now Price - Reserve Price - Start Time Friday, September 26, 2008 End Time Thursday, October 16, 2008 Location Deltona, FL See more about 'Antique Mans Ancient Egyptian Scarab Ring' Description This custom made Scarab gold ring was bought in Egypt in the mid 1920,s.  An authentic antique Scarab dated to around 1400 B.C. is set in the center of a yellow gold ring.  According to historical facts the Scarab was sacred to the ancient Egyptians.  The Scarab measures 9x13 MM and has hieroglyphic figures inscribed on the back.  The ring tests to be 18K.  Finger size is 10 1/2.  Gold weight is 5 1/2 dwt.  Some pinpoint age brown spots are noted on the Scarab.  The ring was appraised by a member of The American Gem Society in 1989.  A copy of the appraisal will be furnished to the buyer. Due to the increase in the value of gold since the ring was appraised ( 19 years ago ), the price was adjusted accordingly.  Ancient Egyptian designs are inscribed on the gold band on either side of the Scarab.  This ring is one-of-a-kind and in Very Good condition.
