Overall great condition, no maker mark that I can find, displays very well. Rare and unusual item, reminiscent of a time when a trip to the dentist was dreaded experience. Great addition to any early Dr display or Civil War Surgeon's living history program. Measures 5-1/4" long. Fully functional (not tested)   I am a man of few words...... and many pictures.
