The relief carving on this dresser is the best I have ever seen.  This dresser is in exceptional shape measuring 98" tall, 48" wide, and 21" deep.  The crest is carved.  The finish is excellent.  The top of the dresser is marble, probably from Italy. I estimated this dresser was made in the mid 1800s.   There are no musty or bad odors.  The drawers open and close fine.  There is wear on the inside drawer runners, however I have not replaced them in order to keep the dresser original.There is no doubt this was built by a very fine 1800's cabinetmaker; but I do not know who the maker was.  If anyone does, please email and I will post it on the listing.You will not be disappointed in the quality and condition of this piece.This is available for local pick up only.  If you wish to hire a shipper, we will work with them, but cannot be held responsible for any damage during shipping.  Buyer must pay the shipping company directly.  This can only be shipped in the U.S.  NC add 7.00% sales tax.
