Antique horse drawn carriage buggy surrey Start Price USD 2,500.00 Current Price USD 2,500.00 Time Left - Bid Count 0 Buy It Now Price - Reserve Price - Start Time Saturday, August 30, 2008 End Time Tuesday, September 09, 2008 Location girard, kansas See more about 'Antique horse drawn carriage buggy surrey' Description Surrey Description   This handsome carriage is a two seat surrey with a fold down top.  No makers tag can be found on the surrey.  The seat cushions as well as the dash and mud flaps were restored in the 1970’s.  The seat cushions are in perfect condition with the dash and mud flaps in very good condition.   The seat back cushions are in the original leather with the front seat having seen it’s better days and the back seat in less than good condition.   The roof is believed to be the original, however, that is unknown and many of the bows have been repaired.  Two of the bows are in need of repair and are currently being held together with black electrical tape.  It is not terribly noticeable until one looks closely.   The floor boards are solid and in good condition.   Overall this carriage is in good condition and only requires minor repair.   This surrey was last driven five or six years ago.  In the near future it will require new wheels if it is to be driven often.   It drives nicely with one horse and presently has shafts for that purpose.
