Antique violin, I found this in the attic of the home I just purchased. It comes with it's bow in need of new stringing, It needs it's bridge as it is missing. It has mother of pearl inlaid on the front of it "A Flower". There is also mother of pearl in the bow. On the inside of the violin it is signed by August Molzer. He studied with some of the foremost violinist of the day. He was Czech born and settled in Lincoln Nebraska and opened Molzer music store in the day. He was famous for doing repairs and playing the violin. It was refaired by him in 1920 also has something else written that I can't make out. It measures 23 inches long from neck to bottom of violin, the bow is 29" long. Needs a new finish put on it but will leave that to it's new owner.
