A tile designed by Henry Van de Velde.  This artist, together with Victor Horta leaded art Nouveau floral naturalistic style, in Belgium where is suposed the style to born. Is a knot with celtic style inspiration but look the division of the main line figure that fold inside outside and thickness is not constant but thick to thin... well is a wonderful sample of fluent lines that configurates an unique tile. This tile is ideal for a contemporany white on white home decor. Or to mixture with vitage furniture.   I found it pictured in Jugendstil – Fliesen by Rene Simmermacher  pag 75 fig 22.15     - CONDITION: This tile is in perfect condition, no flaws or repairs exist. Cement on reverse was carefully removed so minimal traces are remaining. Surface, as you can see, has a firm color and smooth glaze surface. Only minimal scratches and tiny chips may be seen, but this is nothing for a more than 100 year old architectural piece.   - SHIPPING: Shipping charges are calculated for 3 different shipping methods, the Uruguay registered packet standard (a bit slow) and accelerated (we recommend this very much) and finally courier Express mail FEDEX that is very fast.
