Description
This is a chance of a lifetime for the right collector or dealer who wants to own a peice of history. This is a great chance for someone who wants to sell this to an auction house or private collector.  Please research this artist and understand that this is a one of a kind "original" - meaning there is no other statue like this in the world and there's no other copies ever made.  It is signed and dated by the artist.  I can provide detailed pictures.  Prior to purchasing, I encourage that you get it appraised.  According to appraisals, this is worth well over 7 figures!!!!  I'm going to be paying for an appraisal if it doesn't sell within the next 4 weeks - from Sotheby's or Christie's Auction house in London.  We are releasing this as we are liquidating our entire inventory.  Anyone who knows Barye's work knows its worth tremendous money.  This is the one and only time I will list this item with such a low Buy IT Now Price.  Next listing will be an auction style listing starting at $200,000.00.  Bids on this peice will reach over $500,000 USD at Christie's or Sotheby's any day.  This is one of those rare peices that could possibly sell for 10 + Million. In 1848 he became director of a plaster casting establishment in Louvre and in 1854 became the master of zoological drawing in the Musee d'Histore Naturelle where one of his pupils was Rodin. He was the greatest animal sculptor of all time and is the father of the Animalier School.
