A RARE Find this Beautiful Stained Glass Window. In person I purchased this Beautiful Piece of History and Artwork and Superb Craftsmanship many years ago and it has remained crated until these photos. Pictures simply Do Not convey it's beauty, design, colors, and glass textures that shimmer in the light, of this magnificent piece. It is in it's original wood frame as you can see in photo the woodwork and wooden pegs. At the time I was told this piece was at least 100 years old and that it came from a very old Church. The inscription on the flowing glass banner scroll reads: BLESSED ARE THE DEAD WHICH DIE IN THE LORD. I've included in the pictures the part of the banner that reads: BLESSED. The letters do seem somewhat worn as I imagine they would be after all this time so I will be more than happy to email you more detailed pictures if you are interested!This piece would be perfect for a private Chapel or even in-home memorial in memory of a cherished loved, or even such themed funeral home Chapel. It could be built into your home for the rays of the sunshine to light up the stained glass in all of it's beauty and glory, or it could even be built into a wall designed to light up behind to display and project the same. The window itself weighs approximately 50 pounds! It's dimensions are approximately  29 inches wide by 98 inches tall! This item will be carefully crated in the crate pictured (at no additional charge) that I personally had built just for this window when I originally had it shipped to my home here. I have listed shipping at $500.00 though a UPS quote to California was almost $700.00 but I will pay the difference myself of anything over $500.00 in the continental US. If shipping to you is less than $500.00 I will refund the difference to you. Two of the smaller stained sections have a slight fracture that is barely obvious visually though how they originated is unknown but is also a part of it's history. I would love to be able to turn back time and to be able to see the craftsmen at work creating this piece, and then the original location of this window as I think of those who once beheld it, and all those since, and what it meant to them and their lives. This is not just another stained glass window, this window has Meaning which is truly the real beauty of it all! Be apart of it!
