The crystal has beveled cubes throughout with a wonderful star burst design on the bottom. This gorgeous box stands 5.5 inches tall, is 7.375 inches wide, 4.625 inches deep and weighs about 4 pounds. This is a grat looking box in EXCELLENT condition ( no chips, cracks or repairs of any kind!) I cannot say for sure the material used for the darling little paw feet or the piano type hinge -- either gilt on bronze or brass. This mounting and hinge is in excellent condition. What attracted me to this piece when I bought it at an auction in NYC several years ago was the workmanship and the elegant simplicity of it. Please let me now if you have any questions.
