Description
I picked up this medical mystery device at a garage sale, did some research and couldn't find out anything. This needs some restoration and is sold as is with no warranty :-) Manufactured 9/21/1934 by the Clayborn Electrionizer Co. 31 Exchange Place Atlanta, GA. The directions are on the bottom on the unit and I'm going to type them here.DIRECTIONSFirst turn rheostat all the way to the left. Wrap the electrode with cotton to prevent metal from coming in contact with the tissues, moisten cotton to insure Electrical contact.Placing the metal button on the check electrode inside the patients mouth.After Electrodes have been placed in contact with patient close the switch toward the proper medicament.Then turn rheostat slowly to the right until desired milliamperage is reached (1/2 milliamper dental)(1 milliamper ear and nose) is suggested. This instrument is guaranteed for one year against defective material or workmanship, (providing seal is not broken)We will test out for defects without charge if sent to us prepaid.
